Hyatt Regency – Site-Wide Audio & AV Control

Made By Sound delivered a comprehensive audio and AV control solution for Hyatt Regency, designed to provide seamless operation across the entire venue. The system was built on Q-SYS processing and control, with intuitive UCI touchscreens that give staff simple, centralised access to manage audio throughout the hotel. The result is a reliable, stable platform with user-friendly interfaces, ensuring smooth operation for day-to-day use and large-scale events alike.

Rydges Hotel Southbank – Rooftop Function Rooms AV Upgrade

Made By Sound in collaboration with AV Team delivered a complete AV upgrade for the rooftop function rooms at Rydges Hotel Southbank. The project featured a Q-SYS control system to unify audio and video management, paired with Shure wireless microphone systems and RF venue distribution for crystal-clear sound across multiple spaces. Designed with ease of use in mind, the system gives non-technical staff a simple, intuitive interface to operate events seamlessly. The result is a professional, reliable setup that enhances guest experiences and ensures smooth operation for every function.

Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre – Centre-Wide Paging & BGM Upgrade

Retail First engaged AV Team/Made By Sound to design and install a Q-SYS based audio solution for Mt Ommaney Shopping Centre. The system integrates a Core Nano processor, paging stations, and CX-Q amplifiers to provide seamless centre-wide paging and background music distribution. With built-in scheduling and an intuitive control interface, staff can easily manage announcements and playback, ensuring clear communication and a welcoming shopping environment for visitors.

The Inchcolm by ODE Hotels – Multi-Room Video Conferencing

Made By Sound delivered modern video conferencing solutions across multiple rooms at The Inchcolm by ODE Hotels. The installations featured Philips Q Series displays paired with Logitech Rally Bar systems, providing high-quality video and audio with a streamlined user experience. Designed to be both elegant and functional, the displays complement the hotel’s interiors while giving staff and guests simple, reliable connectivity for meetings and events

Southbank TAFE – Gym & Cycle Room AV Systems

Working with Downer Group & AV Team, Made By Sound delivered purpose-built AV systems for two fitness spaces at Southbank TAFE. The cycle room was equipped with a Q-SYS control platform, Q-SYS speakers and amplifiers, Shure wireless microphone systems, and Panasonic projection, giving instructors a flexible and easy-to-use setup. In the main gym, we installed a powerful solution featuring Q-SYS control and amplification, Biamp Community R-Series loudspeakers, Shure wireless microphones, and Blu-Stream distribution. Both systems were designed for simplicity and reliability, ensuring staff can run classes and events confidently with clear, consistent sound and visuals.

Moreton Bay Boat Club – Multizone Audio System

Made By Sound designed and installed a multizone audio system for the Moreton Bay Boat Club, delivering seamless control of background music and speech reinforcement throughout the venue. The system combined Yamaha MTX processing and XMV amplifiers with Quest MX Series loudspeakers and Shure wireless microphones, ensuring both powerful coverage and speech clarity when required. The result is a reliable, easy-to-manage solution that enhances the atmosphere across multiple areas of the club while providing flexibility for events and day-to-day use.

St Paul’s School – AV Control System Refresh

St Paul’s School engaged Made By Sound to modernise and replace their ageing AV control system. The upgrade introduced a Q-SYS processor with intuitive touch panel interfaces, paired with Blu-Stream IP-based video distribution to deliver flexible video matrixing and routing. The Q-SYS platform also manages stage lighting with custom presets, creating a complete, all-in-one solution. The result is a streamlined system that provides staff with simple, reliable user control interfaces for projector and screen operation, while offering the scalability of a future-ready IP-based platform.
